A small kitchen for the end of the day

Find the pairs.
Let the kitchen quiet.

Masala Mound is a calm 36-tile game inspired by Mahjong solitaire. Choose a Gentle or Deeper stack, read the overlaps, and let the Session reach a real ending.

Nothing to win. Nothing tracked. Nothing you can do wrong.

One rule, two tonight-only profiles

Easy to understand.
Impossible to spoil.

A tile is free when nothing overlaps it from above and either its left or right side is open. Gentle gives the mound broader openings; Deeper begins with unmatched open-side decoys and one cross-layer pair, then reveals two more crown matches in sequence. Every legal choice on either authored board keeps a path to the ending.

  1. Choose tonight

Gentle or Deeper. A preference, not a test.

  2. Look

Read the overlaps. The brighter open-side tiles are free.

  3. Pair

Belan with belan. Chai with chai.

  4. Settle

The pair folds inward through one brief brass-and-peacock bloom and leaves.

Punjabi material, everyday kitchen

Indigo cloth. Madder thread. Steel and brass.

The visual system draws from Punjabi material craft without turning it into decoration for decoration's sake. Restrained phulkari-inspired geometry frames ordinary kitchen forms; the object name remains visible so recognition never depends on illustration alone.

Palette
Indigo, madder, marigold, cream, brass
Objects
Everyday cooking and tea forms
Excluded
Flags, sacred symbols, festival collage

Punjabi-inspired direction; completed human cultural-authenticity review is not claimed.

A game with an exit

Feedback stays inside the Session.

While you play

Predictable lift, a paired brass-and-peacock bloom, and an optional three-note chime. Help points; it never plays.

When it ends

Rest is primary. An optional three-object Image Drift leads away from the screen, never back to play.

If you leave it

The kitchen settles itself before the hidden fifteen-minute ceiling. The ending stays the same.

Why sleep matters

Your brain has done enough.
It is allowed to clock out.

Sleep supports attention, learning, decision-making, mood, reaction time, and physical health. The CDC lists 8–10 hours for ages 13–17 and at least 7 hours for adults 18–60; needs vary, and Nindova does not measure yours.

Morning, only if you return

First light keeps the forms, not the result.

From 06:00 through 11:59 in the captured Night ID zone, Dawn rearranges last night's kitchen forms as a quiet local still. Save it, make a subtle silent loop, or leave it there. No notification asks you back.

v0.3.0 · Shahi Mound

Two profiles. One ending.

Nindova is a behavioral design study, not a sleep tracker or treatment. Masala Mound uses recognition, visual search, and spatial planning, but has not been clinically shown to make people sleepy or improve general memory or sleep.
