Notes & ink
When to use this
You want to leave a margin comment or draw a freehand mark (a circle, an arrow, a signature-style flourish) on the page.
- Notes — select the note tool, click where you want the note, and type your comment. It appears as a small icon on the page.
- Ink — select the ink tool and draw directly on the page with your cursor or trackpad.
What you should see
Section titled “What you should see”Notes appear as clickable icons that expand to show their text; ink strokes render directly on the page. Both show up in the inspector’s annotation list.
