Search & replace
When to use this
You’re looking for a word or phrase somewhere in your workspace — or want to update it across your comments.
Press ⌘F to open search. It searches across every document currently imported into the workspace, not just the page you’re viewing. Use ⌘G and ⌘⇧G to step through matches.
Note
Scanned pages have no searchable text until you run OCR on them.
Replace
Section titled “Replace”Reveal the replace options from the search bar to update matching text. Replace one match at a time, or Replace All… with a confirmation step (undoable in one step).
Warning
Replace edits your own comments only. Matches inside the PDF’s page text are find-only — Orifold won’t rewrite the source document’s text through search. To change text on the page itself, use Edit existing PDF text.
