Reset & lock form answers
You want to remove ordinary editable form controls from a copy, or start the form over.
Reader Mode form-answer serialization remains under investigation. Keep the original and reopen a saved copy in another viewer before relying on the answers. See the limitations below.
Reset a form
Section titled “Reset a form”Choose Reset Form to clear every field back to blank.
Lock answers at export
Section titled “Lock answers at export”When exporting, choose to lock form answers. This is intended to convert supported field appearances into page content. It does not prevent a PDF editor from changing document content.
Flattening changes the representation of form controls. Verify the saved answers before sharing; use a separate signature workflow when you need evidence of later changes.
What you should see
Section titled “What you should see”Supported answers appear as page content when you reopen the saved copy. Check every value; a visible or flattened appearance is not proof of correct serialization.
