What is Orifold?
Orifold is a PDF workspace, not a single-file editor. A “simple PDF task” is rarely one file — it’s six PDFs, two screenshots, a Word document, and a scanned form. Orifold’s job is to take all of that in, let you organize and finish it in one place, and hand back one polished file.
Everything happens on your Mac. There’s no upload step, no account, and no server in the loop — import, editing, OCR, compression, encryption, and export all run locally.
The three-step shape of every task
Section titled “The three-step shape of every task”- Import — drop in PDFs, Word docs, images, scans, Markdown, HTML, CSV, even corrupt files.
- Work the workspace — reorder and rotate pages, edit text, annotate, fill forms, sign, stamp, OCR.
- Export — one clean PDF (or DOCX, Markdown, HTML, images) leaves your Mac exactly once, when you say so.
